The City of Calgary has developed a climate plan for Net Zero. Friends of Science Society received a copy of a letter by a concerned citizen and offer this reading of the letter to the public and policymakers.

Calgary City Council announced a 'climate emergency' shortly after being elected, even though this was never part of the election platforms of candidates. Now they propose an $87 Billion "Pathways to 2050" NetZero climate plan. Even David Suzuki Foundation is cheering it on. Friends of Science Society received a thoughtful letter from a Calgarian and with permission, we have turned it into a power point so that you can consider the points and objections this person raised. We also offer you a number of reports at the end of the video which provide more comprehensive insights into the problems of 'emergency' claims, NetZero targets, and evaluating projects based on GHG reductions, instead of proper cost-benefit analysis for taxpayers and city residents.
